Yay! Congratulations! I was so excited to see the news. And what a great picture. Also, you rock for having a homebirth and I'm so glad it went well. You'll be all healthy and energetic in no time, and here I am, two and a half weeks later still recovering from yucky C-section.
Congratulations, Liesl! Kieran is beautiful, and I love his name. I'm so glad to hear all went well & look forward to the birth story. The look on Liam's face here is one of the sweetest things I've ever seen... totally a photo to cherish.
Wow, wow wow. Huge congratulations to you and your family. Kieran looks so sweet; I agree with Rebecca, what a great picture. Rest up, can't wait to hear the story!
Aww! That is such a sweet picture. It's defintely frame worthy. Happy Birthday Kieran! Welcome to this fabulous world. You have a wonderful family! *Sighs* I wanted a homebirth with my daughter. I did deliver at a free standing birth center but still...If I ever have another child it will (hopefully) be a homebirth.
I forgot to add Aiyana was 41w and 1 day. If it had went a few more days I would have had to deliver in the hospital since I was a first time mom. Congrats to you! When you have the time (ha! ha!) I hope you share some of your birth story. I especially love hearing about home births.
Sending love and well wishes to you and the newest, gorgeous member of your family. :) Take time to rest, you birthing goddess. From one homebirther to another, XOXO
from another homebirther to another: woooooo hoooooooooo way to go girl. keep those feet up and naps happening, loads and loads of love to you across the sea and sky. X X X X X X X seven kisses from us
What am I doing at home with a 4-year-old, an infant, three ferrets, a large dog, some fish, and a cat family under the back deck? Well, someone's got to document the chaos....
I used to be a chemistry professor. Then I had one son, and then another. I'd rather be home with them and the critters. And the rest, as they say, is history. Come on in and experience the chaos.
