Oh, daffodils! They remind me of home--I don't think California gets them. And then I noticed from your comment that you are between Philly and New York--I grew up just south of Philly.
What am I doing at home with a 4-year-old, an infant, three ferrets, a large dog, some fish, and a cat family under the back deck? Well, someone's got to document the chaos....
I used to be a chemistry professor. Then I had one son, and then another. I'd rather be home with them and the critters. And the rest, as they say, is history. Come on in and experience the chaos.

Clearly you are not in my part of the Northeast. I have yet to see signs of a flower in these parts!

We're between Philly and NYC, but these daffodils always come out early. They are in a sheltered spot that gets great sun all day.

POW - I didn't realize daffodils weren't found in CA. I just assumed they were planted everywhere.
I remember something about you being from the Philly area - I take onw of the ferrets to a vet in Aston every month. Is that near where you grew up?
Jennifer - Amen. Preach on, sista!
